Bring your notebooks, questions, stones, tools and torches if you have them. Heavy on the hands on experience & focus on different soldering methods, proper equipment, use & safety, fabricating bezel, prong and gypsy settings for stones, fabricating ring bands & findings (clasps, bails, etc), texturing and forming metal, discuss proper metal thickness for different projects, and finishing: clean up and polishing.

I can introduce projects or you can talk to me prior about designs you would like to work on and I will help guide you with techniques & skills to create them.

Micro instruction demonstrations scattered throughout & plenty of open studio work time with guidance; come and go as you please with me there to guide. 

I have tools available if you want to travel light but I feel it's important to be comfortable with your own. All studio equipment and materials such as polish, flux, etc. will be provided.

Dress appropriately, polishing can be messy.

Limited to 2 spots at the benchso I can give optimum attention.

Talk with me if times are not quite right, this is a very adaptable weekend. You're not going to throw anything off coming later in the day or leaving early.

Coffee, tea, cocoa & water are available.

The kitchen is available: plates, serving ware etc. 

Plan to bring lunch & dinner, order in or step out. Last year we had wonderful potluck style dinners. So I encourage that if you are comfortable! Or I am in walking distance or a minutes drive to all of Delano's finest eating establishments.
