Introductory/Intermediate Metalsmithing Retreat
This workshop is designed to introduce you to the basics of silversmith techniques. Heavy with focus on the 'hands on experience' teaching skills of sawing, stamping, texturing and forging metal, different soldering methods, proper equipment use & safety, fabricating bezels, ring bands, cuffs & findings (clasps, bails, etc), discuss proper metal thickness for different projects and finishing work: clean up and polishing.
